BELLAMY BRIDGE HERITAGE TRAIL
Florida's Most Haunted Bridge!

The Bellamy Bridge Heritage Trail is a one-half mile long
walking trail in Jackson County, Florida. It provides public
access to historic Bellamy Bridge, a steel-frame structure
completed in 1914 that is the oldest bridge of its type in Florida.

Bellamy Bridge is the focal point of what is believed to be
Florida's best known ghost story! The mysterious apparition of
a young woman is said to appear in the vicinity of the old bridge
and many believe it is the earth-bound spirit of Elizabeth Jane
Croom Bellamy. Elizabeth died on May 11, 1837.

The historic bridge can once again be reached by the public via
the new Bellamy Bridge Heritage Trail. It leaves from a new
parking area 4057 Hwy 162, Marianna, FL, 2.7 miles west of
Old U.S. Road.

The trail is free to visit and is open during daylight hours.
